Hotels
1) Close to the centre of Madrid, in Castellana Avenue (here called Paseo del Prado, 32) you have Hotel Mora **. It is sufficiently nice for a couple of nights, very close to the centre, near Prado Museum, the old town, etc... http://www.hotelmora.com/. It has been recently renovated.2) A bit north NH Zurbano ***, very close to Metro Nuevos Ministerios, direct access to the airport, good connection to the University. It is not far from the centre either.

3) Much closer to the University, T3 Tirol ***, is a hotel very convenient to access the campus, still in the centre, a little further away from the old town, but with very good connection to Princesa, Plaza de España, Gran Vía, Sol... http://www.t3tirol.com/
