My research interest
  • Nuclear Physics in general. To be specific: leptonic probes of nuclear structure.
  • Comparison of relativistic and nonrelativistic models of intermediate energy nuclear physics
  • Polarization degrees of freedom
  • Meson Exchange Currents
What am I involved in?
You better have a look to
list  of my recent publications. [1992-1998] [1992-2002]

What I like to do Playing with computers
  • Navigating the web (not anymore!)
  • Working with genetic algorithms
  • Testing performance of computers
  • Anything to do with at least 4 bits
  • Playing guitar. Once in a while it sounds like music
  • Acoustic guitar pieces of 'modern' (oh!, well used to be) pop groups (Genesis, Yes...)
  • Classical pieces: long life to Baroque music
  • Bach on the 6th string again and again
  • Playing with electronic gadgets, wires,
  • Single sided, hand-made printed circuit boards. Do they still name this as 'electronics'?
  • I though that 'getting wired' had other meaning. You should see my pedal-driven personal computer at home...
  • Well, I rather like to talk about...
That is, my homeland in Spain... Did you know that...
  •  Galicia is located in the north-west corner of Spain, right on top of Portugal
  • Its total population is about 3 million people
  • Its total size is around 60% of the Netherlands' one (for instance)
  • Weather is rather mild, specially in the coastal area. But it rains quite often. In the rainiest place in Galicia it rains more than twice as much as in Amsterdam. Inner regions are drier and warmer. Summer is relatively hot and dry, so there is a shortage of rain water during the hot season. Rains are concentrated on fall and spring. They are also common in the winter, but not in the summer, well, relatively speaking, of course.
  • It has its own language, GALLEGO, that is usually spoken by the 70% (and understood by the 98%) of the population
  • GALLEGO is a full featured language, it evolved from latin at the same time than spanish, french. Well, actually it evolved from latin and developed as an independent language before the spanish language did. Foreigners use to say that it is an hybrid of portuguese and spanish. Well, this is equivalent of saying that Dutch is a mixture of German and English. Something that I won't ever say.
  • Its population is of celtic origin. So we have some traditions in common with Irish, Scotish and Britons:   The bag pipe.
